How I fell in love with photography and videography:

When I graduated I had less free time so I chose to really focus on what I enjoyed the most and photography was the first on that list. My parents offered to buy me a nice camera for my graduation gift, instead I asked for the money... so I could buy a more expensive one with removable lenses! I’ve carried on since then getting into making videos to as the equipment I’ve gathered (drones and newer cameras) have enabled me to do both. I take my camera everywhere I can because I love being able to look back on all the fantastic memories.

Why do I love capturing weddings so much?

National Geographic photographer Jim Richardson supposedly said “If you want to be a better photographer, stand in front of more interesting stuff.”

Weddings are so interesting! You get to hear the story of two people falling in love. The couple are celebrating with all the best people they know! I’m always in awe of the cumulative result of all the effort, personal touches, subtle details and fun ideas that make each one unique and amazing to be part of. I love to capture all those special details and help preserve them forever. I’ve been privileged enough to be best man three times and a groom once and I still go back and look at the photos and where possible the videos of those days and they never fail to make me smile, I think everyone should have those things to look back at.

Checkout my proposal video that I filmed on my drone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDjgutYniRk this is the video that really got me excited about making videos. It even featured on American Television! I got the drone specially and told Amy this was the first time using the drone and I wanted to get a nice shot of us on the stepping stones.
